Guest guest Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 Michele, As far as I know, there's nothing in the regulation stating that the kidney must last for a defined period of time in order for the pt to be eligible for Medicare due to having a pre-emptive kidney tx, so it would seem to me that he/she gets is based on the tx.
