Hi Autumn,

I am sorry about your daughter -

I hope she is feeling better.

But it is good to hear she has no symptoms normally.

worse during the day even with the nebulizer treatments so took her

just don't understand why she is sick she gets breathing problems,

when she is not sick she is completely symptoms free. Is it really

asthma then?

Thanks for all the well wishes. She is better today. She is having attacks but I don't hear any wheezing. She hates all the breathing treatments though. I did get a call from the ER today saying that her chest x-ray was hazy and needs to be repeated.

Sounds just like my asthma to me. Attacks start with cough/cold

symptoms not wheezing. I hope she feels better soon. Is she on a

controller med?

Singulair is for allergy control which does affect asthma flare ups.

She is so young, I don't know what the recommendations are in young

children, but I use Symbicort as well as Singulair. Initially I was

on Advair, but the Symbicort works much better for me.
