Guest guest
take your cortisone - with the armour and wean up very small amounts at a time. I have the same problem and it is severely lessened with the cortisone. Crystal Subject: Armor reactionTo: Thyroiditis Date: Monday, June 23, 2008, 7:28 PM I was diagnosed a month ago and started adrenaline, Armour Thyroid, and progesterone. We introduced everything in a two day process then the next and so on. I bloated almost two clothing sizes in less than a week and my blood pressure was way high. My Dr. stopped everything for a month. This last week I started again. I did seven days on the Adrenal glands and everything was fine. Then This Saturday am I took one Armour 30 mg and couldn't stay awake, I bloated 8 pounds in half a day, and my blood pressure went up. (I didn't take the meds Sunday) I am feeling OK today but still a little off. I have a Dr appointment this week. I feel like I am having some sort of allergic reaction; but shutting down my excretion system seems like a very strange reaction. Does anyone have any advice? Guest guest
Sonya, what do you mean when you say you started " adrenaline " ? What's the name of the medicine? TY!! I don't know, but just seems like a lot to start all at once. Two days isn't a very long " ramp up " period. Have you seen this website? http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ some good ideas there about using all the meds your taking. maybe that will help? good luck, sorry it's so rough right now.
