Guest guest Posted January 7, 2004 Report Share Posted January 7, 2004 hi there, i went for my 3 week post op appt today with the surgeon (1st visit since surgery). he is very pleased that i'm doing so well...with the surgery stuff. he said that when the pathologist looked at my gland that it was a 'profound' case of hashimotos thyroitis. and the surgeon stated that he had never encountered such an extensive disease process as mine. glad i got that thing out of my neck. he said 'and the fighting within your body will diminish and you will be much better off now'. how do you like that! neat surgeon! hope i never need him again, though. back to work tomorrow for the first day. not looking forward to it, but it needs to be done. that's all from here. cya, julie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
