Guest guest
Hi Stan and Other Parents/Caring Family Members, I am now in desperate need of some advice. We just finished Day 12 of Valtrex (3X 250 mg). We have 100 mg of Diflucan on board, 125 mg of Zithromax, and other supplements. Odd changes: Will not wear glasses, emotional (sad), and very, very floppy. Good changes: More approriate appetite, better execution of upon directions, seems to be a little better with articulation Q1: A.J. is 5.5 years old and severely dyspraxic. We started potty training on July 25th. He is 50/50. But in the last 3 days, he is holding urine for over 7 hours. Has anyone seen this? Usually, he goes every 2.5-3 hours. Q2: We have not seen anything to call a huge regression. Should we up his dose to 1000 mg per day? Dr. Green actually prescribed 500 mg 3X per day. Any ideas are very much appreciated. Guest guest
Tricia My son was diagnosed with mild pneumonia 2 days ago - he had had a cough that wasn't going away in addition to everything else. The mainstream ped put him on Zithromax and said it would be a good idea to drop the Difulcan for those 10 days as it would not allow the Zithromax to reach a level high enough to kill the bacteria. So I did. I have not heard back from Dr. Green's about what yeast fighter to put on board to substitute for the Diflucan. I did give him some Thorne's SF 722 last night when he was having the giggling hysterics. Just informing you of things at our end, so far it looks like the Valtrex has generated huge amounts of yeast/ bacteria. We are on day 40 of Valtrex and it looks like its nowhere near being over.
