Guest guest
Hi Edan, I tried the link and got " Sorry, this module isn't active " So, whatever they said, I guess they changed their minds. (Maybe they read this post?) Pretty cramped, here, isn't it? But kinda fun. Like a shanty-town version of Aspergia. A proper refugee-camp- no mod cons. It's really great to find you joining in. > Ah! the luxury of being able to post my personal opinions from time > to time... > > I was a bit surprised, and dismayed to find the following thread on > wrongplanet.net, started by , one of the teens who set it up: > > http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php? > name=Forums & file=viewtopic & t=130 & highlight=aspergia > (you may have to cut and paste it in two bits if your text wraps) > > The thread speaks for itself. > > Guys ( and Dan), I have supported you throughout, so please don't > throw mud back at me. > > I should also stress that WP is the only site that Aspergia links to, > that hasn't yet set up an Aspergia refugee camp, and as such doesn't > really qualify like the rest. > > As ever, > > Edan > www.aspergia.com

Guest guest
's comments do not speak for the others who have created the site. We did intend for it to be an improvement on Aspergia, and we're saddened by it shutting down as well. I for one really appreciate what Edan has done to help us out in our efforts. WrongPlanet.net is actually a good site with a good philosophy. We aim to have a good, supportive, and safe online community for those with Asperger's as well as having a lot of resources. We've put a lot of work into that, and I think if you look around at what and I and others have done to make it a good place you'll be surprised. I think our work speaks for itself. We've come across a few problems with the nuances of language in news, and even a few things that went up that we didn't proofread. But these are mistakes we've learned from and I hope that those uprooted by the shutdown of Aspergia can find a new home in WrongPlanet.net.
