Great Children's Book for Kids Scared to Poop

My son withholds his poop and we have been working with him on

overcoming the fear of pooping.

I recently came across a wonderful children's book. Here is the link:

This book is specifically written for children who fear pooping. Read

the reviews on Amazon. Parents say that after reading it, their kids

overcame their withholding issues!

I can't say for sure yet if it's going to work for us, but we read it

to my son last night before bed and this morning he pooped in the

potty. I don't want to jinx anything but this is a MAJOR step. Without

going into all the details, has has been withholding his poop for a

YEAR and won't even go in a diaper. So anyway, I am hoping for more

successes. We are going to read it to him every night before bed. We

skip over the words like " hurt " and " hard " in the book b/c we think it

will reinforce his fears, but other than that it is a great book!
