Since we're touching on generic brands - how do people find these cheaper

brands generally? I recently took Codapane Forte instead of Panadeine Forte

(PF) for severe pain - PF makes me constipated and eventually I do notice

suicidal thoughts AND it stops all pain - but this other brand hardly

touched the pain, had no mental impact and gave me semi diarrhoea - very

unusual for a Codeine product. I rarely take anything at all so I notice

the impact quite strongly. With " allegedly " the same ingredients - how can

the results be so very different?

Hi, Mara,

My LLDM prescribed alinia to treat cyst form of lyme. Since the brand name

one is above my budget, someone in in lyme support group suggests getteing

generic alinia in Canada. However, I don't know how effective the generic

one is. Also, I don't know whether alldaychemists.com sells " authentic "

alinia and albenaza given the fact the they are in Indian and they don't

require prescriptions for the above two medications which require

prescriptons in the U.S.? I am concerned about the safety of these products.
