Dear Sue,

Excellent suggestion! I have made the changes. I think the request is

reasonable. The questions can all be answered briefly or not depending

on the member's preference. I think that restricting membership also

adds value to the group. We are special people with special interests

and we need not open our site to those who have no business here. I am

hoping our spamming problems are over.

I can't tell you how good it feels to not have to cringe to see what

kind of spam has been put on our site. It made me feel like someone

spray painted graffitti on my house.

I guess the group is seeing another side of me now...the NY side.

Being a " doormat " just isn't my style. I think we must be one of the

last Yahoo Groups to allow open membership. None of my other groups

do. I guess I had to find out why for myself.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I have a very good feeling about

the changes that were made.

Without concerning myself with spammers I can put more effort into

looking for a medical researcher to work with us and hopefully

discover some useful knowledge that will help us all.
