Guest guest
I like whole grain, with miso and Peanut Butter and blueberries. Joan You're just jalousie because the voices talk to me. -------Original Message-------
Guest guest
I put the miso and PB with the grain (barley or steel cut oats), mix it up, and eat the blueberries separate. I have an awful time with what is ying or yang, so I don't know if this is a good combo or not. but I like the taste. Guest guest
Is the miso still a paste or a liquid? It actually sounds good, that’s why I’m asking. (White Miso? Red Miso? Or doesn’t it matter?) I must be the only macro-wanna be that hates oatmeal. I’ve never ever been able to eat oatmeal. I’ve tried so many times. It’s the texture, it must makes me want to gag. So breakfast is hard for me. Before when I was almost-strictly macro I would to save time use these prepackaged Miso and noodles by WestBrea. They don’t’ sell them in Canada. So I’m looking for an alternative that quick and easy in the morning (when I’m the least creative) From: Joan Kimball Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 8:55 PM To: VeganMacrobiotics Subject: RE: breakfast choices I put the miso and PB with the grain (barley or steel cut oats), mix it up, and eat the blueberries separate. Guest guest
I use Miso just out of the container. For oatmeal, I use steel ground oats. It isn't so mushy. It does take about 20-30 minutes to cook. 4 to 1, that is 4 portions liquid to one portion oats, simmer, stirring occasionally until it is porridge. Then I take miso, right out of the container, and not much of it, because of the saltiness, and a Tab are so of peanut butter, mix all together, and enjoy. When blueberries are in season, I freeze them. I hope the fact that they are so good for you makes it worth freezing them. I am new to this also. I believe in it, but don't follow the plan very well.
