Guest guest
I would just like to share a story pertaining to allergies................ When my dd was little I would sit on the floor and read her books and my nose would become runny, I finally figured out that it was only when I sat on the carpeting in which it was clearly something in the carpeting whether it was what the previous owner put on the carpet, i.e. Carpet fresh or it could have been the 3M stain resistant that they treat the carpets with to begin with or it could just be what the carpet was exposed to. Either way my point is this, we as parents need to be in tune with where and what are children are exposed to, chalking it up to allergies and medicating them is not the answer. We need to find the source. Jeanie
Guest guest
Agreed!! As I mentioned in earlier posts, allergies are mini allergic reactions. An immune response (fungal/yeast/mold issue) etc. Allergic reactions(allergies are mini form) when they happen attack any major organ, heart, lungs, skin, "GI". My sons allergic reaction(already vulnerable from toxins/antibiotics ie fungal/yeast) to vaccines affected/damaged his GI as I feel many in this group have had happen, some more suttle(mini allergics/allergies) some more severe(allergic reaction)! But agreed there is a source, but feel the gi is the root for healing when it comes to allergies/allergic reactions! This is where the immune(cause of allergies etc) mostly thrives! Your thoughts on probiotics is so important. As you have mentioned so many improve with them, especially when it comes to the lungs/sinuses etc. But we still gotta go after the bad guys(fugus/yeast/uuugh... mold, even viruses that thrive in the intestines) that caused all these problems to begin with! Probiotics, antifungals, avoid chlorinated water(kills the good guys) etc. In tune for sure with our kids, agreed medications make it worse and we need to find the source and work on healing the major organ...the Gastrointestinal tract!!
