Guest guest
Dear , When I read posts like yours and so many others who are in pain and frustrated I really count my blessings. I have never had to take drugs for my EN and as a doctor once told me I have a " mild case " . Still after having it for 36 years I too am not giving up trying to figure out the cause or find the treatment that will put the EN to rest. I am currently rereading a very old book (1972) called " The Dynamic Laws of Healing " by Ponder. I read this about 20 years ago. As I reread it, I note that some of the laws are " old friends " and I have incorporated them into my life. Others are like " hummm, haven't thought of that lately " . I asked Steve if he felt that his mind could affect his health. He said to some extent he did feel that he had experienced it. So I am curently taking the time to practice these laws and notice what happens. I know this sort of spiritual healing is not for everyone. But the way I look at it, it is free and can't hurt you. The best that could happen is improved health and a longer remission. The worse is I " just " become a better person--that's not so bad, eh? Guest guest
, That is so kind of you. I agree- I must try to stay positive. I think I'll check out that book. Just finished reading, Spontaneous Healing by Dr. Weil. Thank you, --- Strecker wrote: > Dear , > > When I read posts like yours and so many others who > are in pain and > frustrated I really count my blessings. Guest guest
Dear , I'll have to add Spontaneous Healing by Dr. Weil to our " recommended books " . I don't know if Ponders books are still in print. She was a minister of Unity Church. I also have her " The Healing Secrets of the Ages " that I want to reread. I think these methods are in many different books, as the ideas are ancient. The key is to practice the laws and as you said, " stay positive " . Guest guest
, Is it possible to purchase these books at any bookstore, or do I need to go through the Unity Church? Thanks, Jo Strecker wrote: Dear ,I'll have to add Spontaneous Healing by Dr. Weil to our"recommended books". I don't know if Ponders books are stillin print. She was a minister of Unity Church. Guest guest
Dear Jo, I thought Ponder must have been long dead by now, so can you imagine my surprise when I did a search and see a photo of the older but still recognizable lady? Looks like her many wonderful books can be purchased from Amazon.com. Here is a link: http://website.lineone.net/~cornerstone/ponder.htm Her books may also be available throught Unity Church or bookstores. If someone is not a Christian, they may still get benefits from these books. Her message is truly universal. I just finished rereading " The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity " .
