Guest guest
If you cut down on the dosage of ssri's too quickly you can get these side effects. Most doctors will tell you this. It is best to reduce your dosage very slowly, even if it takes weeks and weeks and weeks. It takes as long as it takes. Just do it slowly and don't let other peoples bad experiences put you off if ssri's help you. > Are you taking any SSRI's by any chance? > > If so, I'll pray for you. > > Electric shocks in the head that instantaneously run down your spine and out the end of your feet, been therre done that. > > If you are on Celexa, Prozac, Paxil, etc...or some other one of these poisons, this symptom is part of the mess. If you are on them then it probably means that your resistance is increasing, the doc will tell you to take a higher dosage and you will notice it subside, but htis direction will take you to a bad place. >
Guest guest
You are corect, I can't disagree with anything you said, titrate is the word you are looking for. You have to titrate down very slowly, my doc was a real screwball because he didn't tell me this and although I looked into Celexa and Paxil before i took it I didn't find all the bad news about it until it was too late. But, should you choose to take a SSRI, celexa, prozac, paxil, etc.., may God be with you, and simply do realize that after you take it amonth or more, youhave to tirate down, so even if you would want to stop you are goin gto have to take months to wean yourself down from it. Any of you that didn't realize this and you are now taking one of these poisons, well, now you know. Visit youtube adn search for paxil, brain zaps, and so forth, watch those videos, I lived every horrifyin gexperience you see. We all are different I wish everyone the best but there is no doubt in my mind, I will never take an SSRI again as long as I live as well as any anti-depressant, the cure is worse than the illness. The murders and suicides you hear about on tv aren't because the person was depressed, it wsa because the person was depressed and taking prozac or paxil or other SSRI or anti-depressant. What a dirty little secret in society.
Guest guest
Can you possibly explain how you know that suicides of people on antidepressants were due to medication rather than depression? Even experts are having trouble with this one. I'd love to examine the studies you must have read. Thanks. BTW, it does not necessarily take months to titrate down a dose of an antidepressant. Much depends on the original dose, the patient and other factors. I believe I did it in two or three weeks when I wanted to get off Effexor to enter a study. I was on a very high dose, too. Guest guest
Cymbalta has been great for me, it has got my depression under control but I also take triaville which I have been taking for 20 years. I have tried to get off of it but I get so depressed so my doctor told me to take them both. Â I will stay on both of these forever. Any other questions let me know. lots of hugs! debbie
Guest guest
I have been taking cymbalta for about 6 months and I am thinking about switching to something else. I am at the highest dose and I felt no improvement. The only thing I have felt is more fatigue when I started the highest dosage. I can barely keep my eyes open lately. > > > > Actually I did find out about getting off of Cymbalta today and I am not happy but it works so well for my depression I probably would have taken them anyway > > hugs >
Guest guest
Cymbalta seems to be like that from the things i've heard. It either works wonderfully or it has no real effect. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground with it. Its very frustrating i know. I've tried many ssri's and snri's and have yet to find something that really helps. Incredibly frustrating. d > > > > > > Actually I did find out about getting off of Cymbalta today and I am not happy but it works so well for my depression I probably would have taken them anyway > > > hugs > > >
