Guest guest
I need to apologize for stating that "peg 3350 does not contain a protein, and therefore you cannot have an allergic reaction." I usually try to work on facts, in which my doctor told me that he didn't think their was a protein in peg, therefore, it wouldn't be classified as an allergic reaction" I thought I confirmed it once, but can't remember where now. According to all the websites they call it an allergic reaction but I have not yet confirmed whether it has a protein or not. Any feedback or research on this subject is greatly appreciated...................... below is an article stating "not to mix peg electrolye solution" with flavorings?.................(note: this is the medication with electrolytes added...........that DO come in flavors) but I wanted your input as to WHY this is written? Do not add any flavorings to this medicine, such as sugar, honey, artificial sweetener, fruit juices, or other beverages. For all the new people.............it clearly states not to give more than once a day.......... With all said, I still believe that it's a adverse reaction to a chemical, not an allergic reaction, but I could be wrong. http://www.bsneny.com/kbase/multum/d01023a1.htm
