Mara, take one Tbs of green/red clay with one glass of water every morning and

you will be ok in no time.

I appreciate all the responses and ideas!

Evista: " (Raloxifene) is in a class of medications called selective

estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs). Raloxifene prevents and treats

osteoporosis by mimicking the effects of estrogen (a female hormone

produced by the body) to increase the density (thickness) of bone.

Raloxifene decreases the risk of developing invasive breast cancer by

blocking the effects of estrogen on breast tissue. This may stop the

development of tumors that need estrogen to grow. "

As my Gyn described it, it is a synthetic Estrogen which does not

have the negative side effects of estrogen. But I have read that it

can increase the risk of blood clots. I have friends who are taking

it and it has increased their bone density. I'd prefer to do it

other ways. But I'm already doing as many of the things I have

learned about that will help it. But now there are some new ideas

offered from this group:

-Hanneke--I'm already taking much more mg than calcium--seem to need

lots of it!, Am interested to read the article and the files you sent

me. Thanks

-Rose: I eat a lot of bone broth--not familiar with oatstraw tea and

comfrey, but will check them out.

-Jane--I take some of the mg in the AM, but the calcium at night

(because I have to take it away from the thyroid medication), but

that's also when I take the som
