Hi Thanks for welcoming me to your group. I am not on any medication

now. I think my symptoms get worse everyday . This is just so frustrating.

I'm so sick of it all. Is there ever a day that you feel normal. I thought

that I've been to enough doctors they all just tell me my blood work is

fine. The last time I had my blood work my tsh was 2.44 in a

range(0.35-5.50) T4 was 12.6 in a range of (11.5-23.2) Take Care Pam

Hi I checked the list of doctors and I couldn't find one close enough.

I think I will make an appt with my old doctor. She's on maternity leave

but she has another docter filling in for her. I'm going to take all my info

to him so he can read it. Hopfuly he can help me.

I am new to the group. I have dry eyes, dry mouth sometimes and dry nose. i have been tested for Sjogren's but nothing came up confirming it. Could it be thryroid related? i just started Armour 30 mg 1 week ago, my TSH level was 7.something a year ago and has come down to 4.62, but my T4 level has decreased. Doctor said I did not need to be on any medication as my levels came down on their own. But, I am feeling worse than a year ago. I started having dry symptoms in FEB and muscle cramps and neuropathy which have gotten worse. My OB GYn finally gave me a script for Armour. I hope to see some changes. Any thoughts about the dry symptoms and the cramps and neuropathy as realted to thyroid. All i have read is that hyperthyroid can cause dry eyes, but not the other, and don't know about the rest, and neither do my neurologist or internal med doc. suuzin

Also, yes the fatigue defintely has a dampening effect on your mood -- I find it's a vicious cycle actually. All of your symptoms sound pretty typical of hypothyroidism.. and most of us on this list have had the occasional "odd" sypmtom, like the ones you describe. Are you on thyroid replacement at all now? If not, find a new doctor as soon as

possible, it really sounds like you need treatment. Have them test your t4 and t3, not just TSH. I'm not sure why your doc would say she couldn't "regulate" your thyroid..? Keep us posted
