Guest guest
Hi – Permission to Repost Yes He Bloody Well Is! How many remember still the portrayal of Winston Churchill by Albert Finney, some of the older campaigners may remember me using part of the programme in what would become my Churcillian fight them on the beaches article. It is the end of that drama which this e mail is about where war is declared and Churchill is appointed leader of the War Cabinet and walking into Parliament he is told “the fleet is signalling, Winston is back”, he turns smiles and says, “yes he bloody well is!”. Well Winston is not back but I am, for the judicial review in London, I have been invited to attend and play a part if possible, last night I booked my ticket, as I am typing this, it is on my desk at the side of me. So yes I am coming out of retirement for the Review and hopefully a vigil on March 6 at Kay’s hearing I am sure she will appreciate the support and I am sure we can do Lynne’s memory proud. So now if you say “Trev is back” and they ask “is he” the answer is “Yes He Bloody Well Is!” Trev
