Another list I am on recommends 2 extra strength alka seltzer for UTI.

I hope I can remember it the next time I have one.

So I am guessing cipro or levaquin? Side effects could also be related to

the flouride in the antibiotic. Honestly the antibiotic seems enough to

cause your symptoms.

Taken until next Tuesday? Or are you done as of yesterday?

Alka seltzer will alkalinize the urine which reduces the pain - nothing

more - you need a strong remedy to eliminate a UTI - which I have already

advised, and after it is cleared you can increase the bladder's tendency to

infection by taking a course of the strongest Cranberry capsules on the

market - cranberry strengthens the bladder walls and increases it's

resistance to infection - no cranberry juice is not strong enough to do this

P.S. Normal urine is acid - one way of diagnosing UTI is having alkaline

urine + nitrites + usually leucocytes all showing on the urine test strips

so by deliberately alkalinizing your urine you would also become more

susceptible to infection.

Concentrated and much less sugar.

Jane, , Jaxi, Ann, ,

Many thanks for your kind replies. I do have ESSIAC which i bought from

mountain rose herbs. Would that be good enough? I will go for cranberry

capsules and will continue with the CS water. Am afraid to take d-mannose coz

it is simple sugar and i am diabetic.

Jane, how many days do i take the cranberry capsules. Thanks.

I stopped the last day of pills, just could not take them anymore.

Feeling better today, but my stomach still not normal, quizzy and feeling hungry

all the time even just a few minutes after eating. It still grumbles and still

get the dizzy spells but in very mild form.

Thank you all again.

, I didn't know you couldn't take Mannose or I would've chimed in

sooner. Before I found Mannose (which I swear by), I recognized the

onset of a UTI and I had the old 5% Lugol's in the house. I took 6 drops

4x a day and knocked the infection out in about 36 hours.

Tita,

I know a lady in AZ who had really bad UTI. Her doc gave herDMSO via catheter

to kill it off. It worked and never came back. I think that and organ

transport are maybe the only two uses that allopathic docs have for DMSO?
