Guest guest Posted September 20, 2006 Report Share Posted September 20, 2006 use the Attention Index all the time--on my Pendant, where I guess nobody told Bruce it doesn't work. Unfortunately Hershel seems to have a strong predilection for the Pocket over the Pendant, so there are lots of folks who end up spending $1,750 to get something they could have gotten for $1,000. He also claims that battery life is a real problem on the Pendant, but since I switched over to the rechargeable Lithium batteries (which I mentioned in a fairly recent post on the list), I've had no problem with that either. And, by the way, I DON'T happen to like the Attention Index better than the ratio. Some people do. It is an extremely difficult training process, since one segment dropping from equal to or above the prior reading will cause it to go backward. I like the fact that, with the ratio, you can go 3 steps forward and one back without getting incredibly irritated.
