Guest guest
My gi doctor Is going to do a EGD to see if my ulcers are gone or better but they don't feel better to me. He has me on medication. He also wants to do a colonoscopy but he uses a prep with peg3350 in it plus 4 ducolax tabs and ducolax also has peg in it and I'd have to fast for 1 and 1/2 days on clear liquids and I can't do that and told him I need protein to keep my blood sugar up and he said to eat sugar so that told me hes not up on hypoglycemia. I spoke with my surgeon who did my hemorrhoid surgery and has done 2 scopings on me and he said he would do the colonscopy and does not use peg3350 and actually wants to check as I have rectal bleeding as he had to leave some internal hemorrhoids for rectal tissue or else he would have to do a colostomy as the first rectal surgeon took too much rectal tissue. My luck! and I won't have to fast with clear liquids as long. I know because he did 2 scopings on me and knows hypo. This gi doctor is always in a hurry and doesn't take the time to talk with his patients. So I am cancelling my colonoscopy with him and let the surgeon who did the other scopings and I didn't realize but he also does EGDs and treats ulcers so I may have him treat my stomach if this other dr. finds that I still have the ulcers.I have the worse luck with doctors. I go see the endocrinologists on tuesday so I am looking forward to see what my tests showed. I still try to be gluten and casein free but still feel lousy but keep plugging as it might take more time. Let me know how you are doing? Has your husband ever been tested for gluten and wheat sensitivity? Does he ever have a problem. My husband doesn't but he sure burps a lot. Sorry for such a long email. I sent you my entero lab report on gmail. Did you get it? best marg
