Re: Noise and smell sensitivities

Lyrica and neurotonin will not help, instead, will become addictive,

and not work to elevate moods, but rather perpetuate depression. A

friend of mine recently ended up in a psychiatric unit, because he

started hallucinating on those.

Noise sensitivity is called hyperacusis. It is uncomfortable, but

will subside in time. YOu need to see a neuro-otologist for this who

will put you through a battery of tests.

There is neuronal damage and Lyrica and Neurotonin, will cause further

damage.

I also suffer from hyperacusis, and at times, it is unbearable. At

wsorse, I know, that it lessen, and put up with it.

Personally, I have enough of uncomfortable, horrid symptoms to put up

with and know fully well that those meds would not help improving but

quite the opposite. I have yet to come accross anyone who has been

taking those meds for a over year, and found them helpful. Usually,

they end up changing meds and thus start a cycle difficult to break,

for some impossible.

Keep us posted if you go to a neuro-otologist.

Personally, I try to refrain from making blanket statements about drugs such as

the ones written below.  Yes, of course, certain people do have bad reactions to

meds.  And I myself come from a holistic health background and have resisted

taking drugs for 12 years before excruciating pain made that impossible.  I am

now on neurontin and it has helped with the pain that no other pain med could

treat.  I would not be able to survive without it.  (I also have the noise and

smell sensitivities.  I wear earplugs 24/7)

We all would rather not be on drugs but scare statements like the one below

could prevent certain people from receiving the help they need.  I neither

hallucinate or have depression on neurontin and I have been on it for 3 years.

(I am also making slow but steady progress in my health due to a natural foods

and supplement regimen.)

Best wishes,

Dani

It's the only way I can detox my liver without increasing my pain.  I can't do

standard liver detoxes or cleanses but castor oil packs are very gentle in their

detox action.  They also allegedly help boost the immune system.  Very messy

though!  Wish I didn't have to do them but they do seem to bring the pain down a

notch on the days I do them.

Best,

Dani

Thanks Dani, and why the castor oil
