Guest guest
I didn't see the original post on this , I've read about 5-HTP but have never known anyone who has tried it, I really want off the Trazadone so I will talk to my doctor on the 26th, thanks for the advice!!! Again I am suggesting any of you try taking 5-HTP, which is L-5- hydroxytryptophan. Look it up on the net. It regulates the seratonin, the imbalance of which is the real cause of most of our sleep problems. I take 100mg 3 times at day with meals. After it builds up you should be able to go to sleep with no problem. It is such a joy to actually go to sleep when I want to.
Guest guest
I have used 5-htp in the past but it makes me ache like crazy. It also gives me the runs, which is not a good thing since I already have absorption problems. I am currently taking a tincture made of scull cap, valerian root and passion flower along with sublingual melatonin. These too are all natural and work well for me. Alas, they may not be the answer for somebody else. Rita ----- Original Message ----- > Again I am suggesting any of you try taking 5-HTP, which is L-5- > hydroxytryptophan. Look it up on the net.
