Mid-Week Pick Me Up - Wholistic Tip

It's so easy to compare ourselves with one another, but each time we do, we ultimately lose. Comparing knows no bounds, whether regarding career success, weight loss, the level of happiness in our significant relationships, where our talents are and how we use them, or even how our children behave in relation to others. Unfortunately, in the process we hesitate to shine our own light because deep down we fear that if we do we'll stop someone else from shining. That isn't true. Your light does not take away from another! There is enough light to go around and everyone needs each others support to shine. Comparing does not allow that support to come forth. If you're willing to shine, it gives others the courage to do so as well. The key is finding your own talents, letting go of the fear and striving to reach for it and stretch. So don't compare, you have your own light to shine!

Affirmation: I allow my light to shine while I appreciate the differences of others.
