COB - what else?!

Looking for help on this scenario: Pt

has an individual policy, is 50 years old and Renal Medicare became

active on 7/1/05. Renal Medicare became immediately primary

over the indvidual plan. Pt will be dropping the indiv policy to

enroll in a group plan 1/1/07. Will the group plan be primary

for 2007 until he satisfies the COB period 7/1/05-12/31/07?

Thanks as always,
