Last night my allergies were so bad I thought for sure I had an ear infection. This storm system moving in mustve been part of the problem. I had serious post nasal drip and pressure in my ear to the point where I had a sore throat this morning when I left work. I felt like I had a fever, but I know I didnt. I came home, slept from 9am to 430pm (which is really long for me...I usually get up at 2) and now I feel fine although my throat is a bit irritated.

I knew we were supposed to get rain and storms today. It was raining when I went to bed this morning (I work 12 hour night shifts) but I dont believe we actually had any thunderstorms. I woke up to find out we are under a tornado watch till 11pm (Ewww- Ann doesnt like thunderstorms) so Ive been glued to the weather channel tonight.

I just want to say that right now at 545pm its REALLY nasty looking in Atlanta. Madeline and anyone else in these storm areas, I hope you all made out ok and stay safe tonight. There has been tennis ball and softball sized hail associated with thes storms. Also golf ball sized hail up to a foot deep! Crazy and scary weather.

Ive never had weather effect me like that before...usually my peak flows will drop a bit and Ill notice some increase in my asthma symptoms, but Ive never physically felt ill before. I wonder if its assoicated with the storms or not. I do tend to get menstral cycles that make me think I am physically ill like this (sometimes I get a migraine, other times I get the whole sore throat/achiness thing, other times absolutely no side effects at all)...its really wierd (Although since all my symptoms go away as soon as things start, and I dont get cramps, Id much rather get these symptoms). Sorry guys if I made ya squeemish at all...lol.

Ann
