After overcoming the urge to make a number of inappropriate comments that I

thought were humerus..... As a Healthcare Professional and someone born in 1942

I can attest that this is an issue that is much more prevalent than many people

imagine. My clinical comment however would be that the urethra is quite

sensative and I would expect the addition of DMSO to burn. Not enough to damage

but enough to cause discomfort. Would this interfere with the response?

I'd be very leery before applying that. That area of the body is very

delicate and sensitive. Don't want to cause serious damage.

Viagra works, have you tried that?

The best emu oils come from Australia as they are not heated and

distilled in the process. However, they run a C-note a pint to get them

here.

Massage therapist find that these emu oils will transport into the body

other oils like almonds oils.

I have no idea what the emu/DMSO combo might do but I would think

Australian Emu might be one of the better trials at solving this

application and the durings and the aftermaths.

However, until loads of niacin are tried three times a day along with

loads of vitamin C three times a day, I would not give up on internal

instead of topical that you hope will go internal. 2 grams of niacin a

day in three doses along with Vitamin C has been known to build

capillaries so it should also dramatically improve blood flow.

Orthomolecular Medicine is a good reference in this area. 500mg of

niacin to start will produce a good flush but acclimation will soon work

you up to a gram or so. A full teaspoon is around 4 grams. The

niacin/vitamin C in combination may get blood places it has not been in

a long time.

Re: Patent for use of DMSO with erectile dysfunction

As an update to my post, let me add the following, which is drawn directly

from the patent:

" The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is prepared by mixing

an effective amount of papaverine, phentolamine and prostaglandin E1 into a

quantity of water sufficient to dissolve these compounds. The solution is then

mixed with preferably an equal volume of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). It is not

strictly necessary that the volume should be equal but this is preferred for

ease of preparation. The resulting mixture is then applied directly onto the

penis. The DMSO acts as a carrier for the papaverine, phentolomine and

prostaglandin E1 as the DMSO is absorbed through the skin of the penis into the

blood vessels of the penis. Once these compounds reach the blood vessels of the

penis, an erection is achieved rapidly by the user.

It is also possible two prepare a pharmaceutical composition that is effective

for creating an erection in this manner, that includes only one or two of the

three drugs mentioned above.

An effective topical preparation may also be prepared by dissolving

papaverine, phentolomine and prostaglandin E1 directly into DMSO. The solution

is then applied directly to the penis resulting in rapid erection. "

Harvey -

there are numerous texts saying that niacin supplements have the

potential for causing liver damage even at " lower " doses of 500mg/day.

(Not everybody has a sensitive liver though. I have - several times

asked by doctors about my alcohol consumption,-)

Read Orthomolecular Medicine. It has large bibliographies.

This is a very eye opening book as is Levy's Curing the Incurables.

Levy also has a large bibliographies. Most of this stuff has existed

for 100 years and got dropped when antibiotics came on the front and

should not have been dropped.

I am fortunate in that my brain starts to think everyone at a party is

getting stupid long before my liver is the least bit alarmed or

threatened. I'm one of those 2 shots or 3 beers and I am ready to go

home guys.
