Guest guest
I think that is wonderful that you have a relationship that is long lasting. I get a lot of rhetoric about getting married and it is sad that people feel the way they do. I am happy. What I appreciate the most is that Jeff is empathetic and understanding to my disorders. He takes care of me when I am in pain, or weak, or in an emotional crisis. So many people have lost their compassion and selflessness. They have become expectant and care for only themsleves. Because of this I count my blessings that I have a partner who will take me as I am. Even when I announce that my mother is coming to stay for a month or 2....... hee hee hee..... Guest guest
{My wife is totally an Angel for lighting the way through my dark times with glowing compassion and warm teas and icyhot leg rubs. Sadly enough, it looks like I'll be getting the change to pay her back in kind. Her doctors have recently told her that she might have breast cancer. :| :S Will know more later, but I learned how to be a pillar of support largely through being helped by her, I can only hope I'm as good as she is at it. We're two of a kind and cannot ever see it as that. it'd be like a one-wheeled motorcycle. Prize every relationship in your life, and that's me stating the obvious and being cliche' heh. hmmm.} Click Here! Enter the MetaPhorum! Guest guest
Dear , I can only give you my own experience about getting married, and that is that being married brings the reltionship to a higher level. We lived together for 11 1/2 yrs. and thought we were committed, but once we were married legally, it was even more spiritual and wonderful. Steve is like Jeff. I get total support from him. He has never complained once about my EN or anything. We took " est " (Erhart Seminar Trainings) together and it teaches you to fully accept the way a person is and the way they are NOT. We brought that understanding into our relationship. There are many lessons I need to learn in this life, but I was lucky that I learned about Committment and Love at an early age--like you!
