2nd HHV6 titers have doubled!

Just a little background on what we've done so far.

My son tested high for EBV, HHV6 and Measles and Hepatitis B. We started Valtrex in May and did a 78 day run. I stopped it because my son never had a "healing regression", he had a regression which he never recovered from. We did notice nice language gains from Valtrex, but no cognitive (that was noticable) and everything else went downhill. Regulation, attention, pleasant-dispostion - all gone. We initially had oral diflucan which didn't do the trick so we switched to 50mg tablet and that did help.

Anyway, the regression was so bad that I stopped the Valtrex and we started OLE. We had a bad time with OLE as well so I stopped that too.

Our first titer for EBV was 1:160 (ref. range 1:20).

Second titer for EBV was 1:80 - so a nice drop.

Our first titer for HHV6 was 1:160 (ref. range 1:20)

Second titler for HHV6 is 1:320!

My first guess is that because we had used Valtrex and OLE, the HHV6 is moving which is why it's so high. Could this also be why we've had such a hard time with his behavior and such?

I'm looking for some advice - we have a phone consult with our DAN on Wednesday. Has anyone else been in this situation and how did it play out for you?
