I am trying to figure out what happened today and I thought someone

here might have a guess.

I have had increased shortness of breath since February which has

been pretty bad off and on since I got sick with bronchitis. Before

that I was diagnosed with mild intermittent asthma, and had mild

asthma as a small child. Pulmonary and methacholine tests have been

pretty normal. I'm on advair 250. Since moving three weeks ago to a

new town I feel like my head is full of pressure and foggy. Almost a

headache but not really. And feeling sick alot and nausea with lots

of shortness of breath at night. But I started feeling sick and

nauseaus today and went to go to the bathroom and my head felt

really hot, I looked in the mirror and my face had red hives all

over it and then I looked at my arms and they were full of red

hives. I laid down and they went away after about 20 minutes and I

have felt kind of sick since. These new symptoms are puzzling me, I

had skin tests last month which were negative. All I ate was brown

rice and beets before. Never had a reaction just had both recently.

I am seeing a pulmonary specialist at UCSF next month. Someone else

suggested a rhemotologist. The sickness part seems maybe more than

just strait asthma, maybe autoimmune? Oh I don't know.
