Guest guest
I give one at 7:45 am before school, the second at 3 pm and the last at 8 pm. A 7 hour and then a 5 hour gap but its the best I can do :-). Also at some point it might make sense to do a higher dose in the AM, any thoughts on that? Guest guest
Some people have it compounded and send it along to school. Some people put it in apple sause and send it along. We put it in juice and sent it along (just ask them to shake it). - Stan > > Hi - > > My son is currently on Valtrex and Diflucan. I like the idea of sending it to school in his juice. Right now, I am having his Vatrex compounded, but the pharmacist just told me that if I want the blue dye washed off before he compounds it, he is going to charge me $30.00 extra. I have decided that based on his comments, as well as the posts which I been reading on this site, I will start using the pills when this bottle of Valtrex is empty (should be by the end of the week). I currently mix his enzymes (the Houston trio) in his cup every morning for him to drink at lunch. It has worked well so far. Do you think I could include the Valtrex in the same cup as the enzymes? Also, I mix his enzymes in the cup around 8:30 a.m. and he drinks the juice with his lunch around 11:45a.m. Will the Valtrex lose anything sitting in the juice for the 3 or so hours? At this point, I'd rather not have the school nurse involved with giving him any meds...just my personal feeling. Sorry if this sounds wordy...your advice is greatly appreciated! Guest guest
Hi Amy, I haven't seen any posts or read any information that would lead me to believe that taking enzymes with Valtrex would be a problem. The same goes for having Valrex mixed with juice for a day. - Stan > > > > > > Hi - > > > > > > My son is currently on Valtrex and Diflucan.
