Guest guest
This is what Medem is: http://medem.com/am/am_faqs.cfm Allows physicians to set up a free website and use secure email, in exchange for ad banners and other sponsorships. From their Terms of Service: " Medem is currently providing You with this Practice Web Site service in consideration of your participation in the Medem network on a no-fee basis. Participation may include allowing Medem to generate revenue from industry advertising and sponsorship, in accordance with the AMA " Guidelines for Medical and Health Information Sites on the Internet, " to defray some of the cost of maintaining the Medem network. In the event that You elect to decline sponsorship, a monthly fee may be imposed. " A similar product is RelayHealth, but that costs $49.95/month. Wes Bradford (on this listserve) is using RelayHealth. AAFP and ABFP (http://www.familypractice.com) allows you to setup a free practice listing/website, but no secure email. I'm sure there are others.
