Guest guest
Hello, I am treating a 90 yo female, who is currently getting radiation therapy for squamous cell cancer on her lip. Her skin, in general, is very sensitive to anything, especially radiation. I prescribed washing area after radiation with warm soapy water, putting on clay, castor oil after that, moisturizers, topical glutathione. However she is a lot let responsive to these therapies, than younger people are. And is experiencing significant amount of pain, both on the supercifial area and in the mouth, which makes it really difficult to eat. Please let me know what could be even more helpful based on clinical experience for older people. Thank you, Ekaterina Shavlovsky, ND Beaverton, OR
