Dear M and Group,

Yes, I'm worried about Zoo and several other regular posters we

haven't heard from in a while who were having medical problems last

time they posted. I wrote to Patti and got no reply and Cobalt's email

is now bouncing so can't contact him. There are quite a few members

who haven't posted in a long time. All I can say is that I hope " no

news is good news " . I hope everyone knows that this Group is " a safe

place where our members can freely express themselves and share their

mutual support, respect and love " . Quoted directly from our Home Page

Description.

Love,

I saw Dr.B. on Tues this week, but I got some news I wasn't expecting.

I have to have an Echocardiogram of the right side of the heart and then, he told me, I will have to have a heart cath also. My body is not getting rid of fluid properly and he thinks the sarc is causing all of this instead of my EN now.

Hi M...

I'm still around. Just been really trying to take it easy while not

working. I'm an idiot(trust me) and picked up overtime while I'm

going through my epidurals biweekly. I need the money but I know at

the same time I should not over do it. So when I haven't been at

work, I've been lazy at home and just really taking it slow. The

weather hear in Northeast Ohio is playing complete havic on my body.

In fact, I recall exactly a year ago I had to take a day off of work

because I could not turn my head either way. With the weather going

up and down in temp so fast and all the rain, it really is murder for

my trapiza/neck/shoulder areas. This year I guess I'm lucky we

started the epidurals and I bowed down and accepted going on a

narcotic PRN (as needed). It is Norco and if I take 1/2 the amount,

I can function but if I take the entire pill, I feel like I'm

floating. The joints have been bothersome lately and I'm still

waiting all the zillion blood tests I took a couple of weeks ago.

Being told they take a lot longer for results than your normal

tests. Sorry if I've been way to quiet. I do have the FMLA thing

all straighten out now. It is a lot better and thus far management

has not given me any flack about anything with it again. Haven't had

to use it lately, but if this weather stays as is, my joints are

telling me I may not have a choice. Oh yeah, down to 5drops 3x's a

day of the SSKI. Been for a few weeks and thus far, lump free. Now

if only the rash on my face and the hives with the eye lids would

stay at that rate.

Until later.

Sharon,

Good luck with your Echocardiogram and heart Cath. I've been having

them routine since I was 37. I will be turning 42 next month but

feel like I've had them forever. I hope with both tests that they

are able to find out exactly what is causing all of the fluid.

Again, good luck.

Hey Zoo! and all!

I'm glad you're ok . . . well, as ok as you can be. Rest is good, so

I won't worry so quickly next time, k? =)

The sledgehammer came to visit last night =( 2:30 am and still

going. I immediately popped a percoset that the ER gave me and it

really did help. If narcotics is what it takes to make it through

one of these attacks without tears, I'm all for it!! My hubby is

upset with me about it because I had wine last night and he is

convinced this is a reaction with all my meds and alcohol =( I'm

going to do some major research right now to find out if he's

correct. I like my wine, dangit! Not fair! I had wine during the

week and this didn't happen . . . so I'm not convinced yet. Maybe

the rheumy will shed some light on the subject when I see him on the

17th.

Meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy this perc mode. It's a beautiful day

in CT today and I fully intend on getting out there! This is not

going to stop me today!
