Guest guest
I have been out of town for a few days. My son returned from Iraq and is home on leave. I was seen by my pulmonologist in Anchorage yesterday. I blew a 570!!! The Xolair is working wonderfully for me. Spendy, to say the least, but effective as far as I am concerned. Thanks for all the support you guys have been. Mike McBrideDon't cry because it's over, laugh because it happened. I worked for a water bottlingcompany that used ozone to kill bacteria and algae in the water. InMay they had a major leak that completely shut my lungs down andcaused some type of damage that we are still unable to identify in thelower lobes of my lungs. I have not been stable or the same since. So, asthma plus some other lung damage. A fun combination. The onlything that has helped me is high dosage daily steroids which create awhole other group of issues. So, I have been having lots and lots offun. Yeah, the drug companies love me. I am on 22 meds every dayjust to stay sort of stable.. Only 4 for the asthma, the prednisone, then the rest to combat side effects of the prednisone.Thank God this is Workers Comp at this point.Madeline> > > >> > > > Has anyone ever had their Peak flow # be good but, have bad > > > tightness > > > > in their chest> > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > "Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main> sources of cruelty. > > To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom."> > > > * Bertrand (1872 - 1970)> >>
Guest guest
That is terrific Mike! I was just getting ready to put out an APB on you too. I had noticed we had not heard from you for a couple of days. Please pass on my personal thanks to your son. I appreciate the sacrifices both he and your entire family make to keep me safe!
