Guest guest
My other co-owner of our group does say that Thyroid USP is made by Qualitest-Timecap. She says that they are a major producer/distributor of generic drugs, and that they have a spotty record of recalls. The info goes that those who get switched to it from Armour do not do well until the dose is increased, but that those who have been on it for a long time are doing well. So the reputation for irregularity of record, and the transition from Armour to it are the two issues. Close testing during the transition, I think, would be advised. Also, the name being put in parentheses under the Armour name on Armour's site does seem to be a little confusing about this. It looks like it is Armour. The tabs say "TCL" on them. This is new to me too! Tx
Guest guest
So am I Sheila, so I WILL get back with my co-owner on this. I don't even have my bottle to look at because I took the pills out of it and put them in another bottle and threw the original bottle away. Tx Re: Thyroid USP Generic i'm confused about this. When you look at the picture of the bottle of Armour, it says Thyroid USP under Armour. So if Thyroid USP was a generic of Armour, then why does it say "Thyroid USP" on the bottle of Armour??? thanks, sheila wrote: My other co-owner of our group does say that Thyroid USP is made by Qualitest-Timecap. Guest guest
I know that mine said Forrest on it, but I'm waiting for my new bottle to come in. Then I'll know for sure.
