What type of diet is she on? You may want to try SCD.

My daughter (who is NOT on valtrex) struggles with yeast constantly. Our DAN does not want her on diflucan continuously. Uva-Ursi seem to work well for her, but I have read you should not stay on it for more that 5 days. Does any one have a recommended rotation of naturals that includes uva-ursi? Thanks for your help.

She is casein free (which has helped quite a bit) and peanut free,

based on her IgG food sensitivities. She also had mild sensitivities

to many fruits (bananas, strawberries, apples, lemons, etc). I'm

starting to think she should be on a low-oxalate diet.

10 drops 2x per day. I had a melt

down this morning after I looked into it more. I went to Wild Oats and

bought oreganol, caprylic acid, and and new probiotic to rotate with the probio

gold he is taking. I am stopping the uva ursi today. At 1st

I really thought it was helping but this week he started to get aggressive with

his sisters for no apparent reason other than the fact they were loud (I think

he’s overloaded by the estrogen members of the family right now).

Although, they were driving me crazy too. His attention and sleep

patterns have also been off the last few days. I haven’t added

anything so it’s an effect either from allergies or now maybe I’m

thinking too much uva ursi. The DAN told me it was fine for a

month. What are your thoughts on that amount?? Thanks,

I was giving katie 6 drops of uva ursi once a day. My DAN (Dr.

Usman) didn't seem concerned about the 5 day limit either, but

everything I read states not to exceed 5 days.

I read some where that you can rub Oil or Oregano on the childs feet

and it will be absorped in to the body. Is any one doing that? I

am afraid to give oil or oregano orally because it is SO strong.

About rubbing oregano oil in the feet. Yes I have been using with my 8 years old autistic son some basics of aromatherapy and topical essential oils for a year now. I have had some times very amazing results. I have been learning about it and even taking classes and attending workshops. When you apply the oils to the feet , hands or even outside the ears is by using what is call reflexology. http://www.reflexology-research.com/whatis.htm But the main secrete is to use only therapeutic grade oils. This mean you have to be sure the oils are not altered. (Some health food stores have these oils but they are altered even with quimicals). The oil has to be extremely pure and followed a special system of destilation. For example You need tons of oregano, lavender or peppermint just to fill a very small bottle. You just can use a one or two drops at

the time and diluted with olive oil for example. When they are destilled this way, they are even very safe to give them orally. The company that I use is Young Living http://www.youngliving.us/. There Oregano oil is the most therapeutic grade that it could be. Code: Item PV Price 3605 23 $23.00 USD OREGANO - 15 ML (Origanum compactum) has a heavy, spicy, pungent aroma that creates feelings of security. It has strong immune-enhancing qualities and also supports the respiratory and digestive systems.* The chemo-type of Young Living's® Oregano is Carvacrol. Oregano has an approximate ORAC of 153,007 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter. Additional References: HerbalGram - Access the

archives of the peer-reviewed journal of the American Botanical Council. HerbMedPro - Hyperlinked access to the scientific data underlying the use of herbs for health. How to use: For dietary or topical use. When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as soy or rice milk. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Always dilute before applying to the skin or taking internally. Keep out of reach of children. To order oils from this company you have to

register as costumer, preferred customer or distributor. The difference is in the price what you can order for. I first registered as customer, but after seing the great effects of the oils and learning that I can save money I registered later as distributor. But I do not sale them, I just order them for myself and for my family. Still to order as a new customer by phone or internet with this company someone has to sponsor you with their number so you can register even as costumer, that is around 20% more expensive than preferred or distributor. My number is 862094 . I have been using peppermint oil to cure my son fever, joint pains and even stomach aches. Lavender is great with allergies, with open wounds. They have great blends , very powerful, that help very much with concentration. I use one call Brain power with reflexology on my son toes in the morning before he goes to school. I have the

best results with this one day that he was sick with motion sickeness in the car and recovered from it in ten minutes. But passing to another issue I have seen every body concerns about Candida in this group. I want to provide you with my experience using another approach in how to deal with Candida. I dealt with it for a while with my son, first he got cure with nystatin, after terrible dye off reactions. We have always been very careful with his diet. When he had the best season doing great with his concentration, eye contact, sleeping problems, speech etc., he got a terrible constipation (we were not rotating foods properly), he got back the Candida, we try treating it with different things, Three-lac, garlic, difucan, nystatin. His dye off reactions were longer . and not really signs or recovery. Recently I started the homeopathy approach with him. I am seing a

homeopathic doctor that prescribed an specific medicine for him targeting his inmune system and allergy problems. He has not get sick any more and allergies are under control now (asma, sinus). But the main issue is that she recommended for his Candida a homeopathic medicine > Aquaflora intensive dose. This is so far the best thing that happened to us. The Candida was gone in less than a month. But moreover I know that it might not come back, because it was like he receive a vaccine against Candida. For who is not familiar with homeopathy I recommend you to read the book Impossible Cure. This is a book written by mother that cure his son mainly with homeopathy. http://www.impossiblecure.com/ To learn about how homeopathy works you can look into sites like this http://www.abchomeopathy.com/homeopathy.htm. IN the specific case of Candida I learned after joining Candida groups, reading several books... that antifungals are not the best answer to treat Candida. Is better to treat it with a naturapath doctor. The reason is simple. The antifungals kill the candida in the gut but leave toxins in it. You need to be sure that that person is detoxifying correctly, fighting constipation or diarrea problems. The tree-lac (discovered in Japan)for example follow the system of treating candida by given a bacteria that will eat the candida and clean the intestin in its way. But is controversial to know what is the correct dose. Aquaflora is a homeopaathic medicine that treats Candida with Candida, extremely diluted and adding garlic and alovera to cure the gut. This stimulates the inmune system to make the body do its work by itself. So

any time that there is tendency for the candida to come back the inmune sistem of the child will stop it right away. That is what I am now seeing with the Aquaflora Plus intensive dose. You just give the child a tablespoon in the morning 20 minutes before breackfast and that is it. We did not have dye off reactions, he increased his appetite, gain weiight properly, increase muscle tone and concentration, no white tongue anymore ... with the possibility to be not so afraid of what he is eating to feed the Candida. Although we are still very careful with his diet and we are not giving him anything that can feed Candida just in case. Who ever wants to try this apporach, you can order the Aquaflora by internet http://www.luckyvitamin.com/359270200260.html Hopefully this information is useful for the parents that are struggling with Candida. ntkjmt wrote: I was giving katie 6 drops of uva ursi once a day. Hi & ,

I too am using Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and many of their supplements to address my 9 yr. old's viral, bacterial, yeast and heavy metal issues. I use the oils in the Raindrop Technique Kit on his feet. This kit includes oregano, thyme, basil, marjoram, peppermint, cypress, wintergreen, and 2 blends. For the mercury I use the blend Juvacleanse on his liver. I also use other supplements and glutathione from Dr. Buttar.

Initially, he had a horrible healing regression for about 2 weeks. Now he's a happy camper and talking better than ever. His sense of humor has come back and is starting his sentences with "I".

I am going to look into the homeopathic treatments you've mentioned . I believe in an integrated approach as well.

Thanks for sharing. Carmen F. Goldman casgoldman@... www.youngliving.com/623256 917 375-4278

Hi CarmenGreat idea to use the Raindrop Technique Kit on his feet. I went to a worshop where they taught us how to do the raindrop technique on the whole body, maily on the bak. But you really need a good massage therapist for it. We certified how this technique is great as antiviral. Precisely because most of the virus are dorm in the spine. We saw how the combination of oils brought a redness to the back when the technique and the oils were applied. I spoke to people that have had this technique applied as a tratment and has resolved several health issues, even emotional. The only problem that I have now that I am doing homeopathy is that I can not use the oils as freely. You can not use peppermint, eucaliptus, tea tree when you use homeopathy becuse these will not allow the homeopathy to work. My son immune system has really impoved since I used the homeopathy so I have to allow it to do its job. With

homeopathy you have to be easy with strong odors, like perfume and the essential oils, that is why I use them on the feet mainly and had to stop diffuing them. I belong to a group that has a really knowledge in how to use the oils and are constantly giving workshops, and consultations, one of the members actually is a massage therapist , expert in the raindrop technique. I also use the juvatone with my son, once in a while, mainly when he is very constipated, so I can help him detox and cleanse. Hi ,

I do the Raindrop Technique on my son's back but don't use the oregano or thyme oils because they are too hot for him. I do, however, use other oils raindrop style. I'm looking for a good homeopath here in New York City to add this to the regimen. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Regarding the petition for more information on the Raindrop Technique, here is what I can tell you briefly: The raindrop therapy technique is a powerful yet gentle technique for assisting body in correcting defects of the spine. It is also helpful to reduce spinal inflammations and kill viruses that hibernate along the spinal column. This technique was developed by D. Young Aromatologist . The technique involves healing through the etheric and physical bodies by dropping a synergistic combination of nine therapeutic grade essential oils and oil blends directly onto and around the spine from about six inches above the body (this is why it is named raindrop). The oils are then worked into the spine using light strokes with the fingers which stimulate energy impulses and disperse the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body. In this way the body can brought into balance and the energy centers can be

energized and re-aligned. Rain drop therapy also incorporates the Vita-flex techniques, a high specialized form of reflexology developed by Stanley Burroughts, stimulating and supporting each gland and organ. Although a session lasts for about an hour, the oils may continue to work in the body for a week or more following treatment. I went to workshop, given by a certified massage therapist, where watched how to do the entire therapy. First you apply the blend VALOR with V6 oil on the feet . Then you drop the following oils to the spine from about 6 inches up : thyme, oregano (this is tested first to see if it creates reactions, if reacted it is applied with V6 oil), cypress and wintergreen oils. Then the oils are spread with finger wave. Later on, you do the same with Basil, peppermint , marjoram . The last oil you apply is the aroma seize blend , this goes

outside the spine. Later on you use the orthoease oil to massage the whole body, this help to calm and heal the body . In the last posted message regarding aromatherapy and essential oils I mentioned that I order the oils form Young Living Company: http://www.youngliving.us/US/products.asp. This company was crated by Young , who developed this technique. The kit with all the oils used in the raindrop therapy can be ordered through the Internet. Be aware that several people have experienced burns with this 'therapy'. Be sure to fully check out the safety issues of using essential oils at a source other than the supplier/marketer.

Hi Because the raindrop therapy technique uses several oils and blends at the same time, I think if you and your son are sensitive to smells it might be too much for you and him. The oils have a very strong smell. The smell sticks around depending on the type of oil. I put on oils in the morning, and I think the smell sticks around for half an hour the most, later on I forgot about them, some will be longer, but the smell turns in a very nice fragrance. I have some comments of what a nice perfume I am wearing, when I do not smell them any more, but other people do.
