my son had this on his inner thigh - I think it was mildly

itchy because his hands would find it off and on. I did nothing to it,

just put some Eucerin on after his bath and it slowly faded over 10

days or so.

It sounds like yeast to me. I've used tea tree oil, 2X/day, on both my

kids and it clears it up pretty quickly.

According to Stan this is a normal reaction, but is she is on

antifungal treatment as well, because it is important to do both in

the same time, otherwise you will have yeast flare.

That sounds like systemic fungus to me, which is basically ringworm

when it presents like this IMO. I would be working on my antifungal

protocol if I were you. Diflucan or Nizoral and taking out complex

carbs will likely take care of it. The creams just make it feel

better but they don't treat the fungus itself.

I would jump on this right away.

Thanks Stand adn others for your reply and for the suggestions of tea

tree oil and eucerin. The odd thing is that this rash developed

WHILE MY DAUGHTER WAS ON NIZORAL! COuld her yeast have become

resistant?

SHe is also on SCD, so not getting any complex carbs

Nizoral and Diflucan are typically great antifungals but it's possible for your

child to

respond better to one or the other IME.
