Guest guest
Does anyone know the specifics of the serial port communication protocol for any EEG hardware? I have the protocol for the open source ModularEEG, but haven't been able to find specifics on anything else, like Brainmaster for instance. I'm not presently using the ModularEEG protocol because it has some unnecessary (for me) overhead. I want to use a low baud rate, preferably 9600 baud.I've built my own EEG hardware/firmware, and would like to make the interface protocol compatible with another system. Presently I use either my own PC software, or Brainbay (using an old legacy protocol). My hardware/firmware is evolving, but it's a free and open design. One or two channels, 10 bits, 256Hz. You can get 2 channels of 10 bits through 9600 baud with the right protocol (I do have one), but nobody is going to want another protocol. O Don't be flakey. Get Yahoo!
