Guest guest
It easy to sit in judgement and to think your some how your more moral or more intelligent then those who have chosen medical marijuana is an insult to your brother and sisters in this fight for survival and it is a fight and anyone with this disease knows it. There are people here taking an assortment of medications to ease there s uffering trying to live their lives best they can and it is acceptable but those of us that have chosen a different path are not treated as your equal but some how lesser. I've felt the predigest here and I hear in comments to others. This has a classic note of predigest. " I just can't imagine having one of my " special cookies " being eaten by a family member by mistake-! (shiver) Think I'll pass on this one for now! But if it works for someone else and their life-style, glad you found it. " Sorry to single out this quote but just listen to what was said, " I just can't imagine having one of my " special cookies " being eaten by a family member by mistake-! (shiver) " Do you leave your medications out where your children can get it? Of course not. Well, neither would we. Jesus said, And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. I don't know how the others feel but this woman has survived all kinds of predigests that this disease brings, predigests that we all know and you haven't been on the receiving end then thank the old timers, like me, for paving the way. This is where we should all gather where predigest doesn't exist but it does. Time for a forum just for us ,I think not. It is not my intention to hurt anyone and if my words have hurt you I am sorry.
Guest guest
you are right we don't need anymore stress like predijudice. If someone feels more relieved with marijuana then go for it, at least it's made from a healther source then synthetic chemicals of other pain meds. If you don't have Fibromyalgia, Lupus or chronic fatigue syndrome then I don't wish it on anyone, but be understanding to these invisible diseases as we are suffering and still trying to put on a smile and have a little laugh once in awhile, it's an awfully cold world out there and we all need one another. I would be willing to petition the government in any form we can to legalize medical marijuana. Take care everybody and god bless Tree ________________________________ It easy to sit in judgement and to think your some how your more moral or more intelligent then those who have chosen medical marijuana is an insult to your brother and sisters in this fight for survival and it is a fight and anyone with this disease knows it. Guest guest
I too use weed for migraines and pain. It doesn't have a lot of the side effects as the prescription drugs.I am hoping it will allowed in my state sometime in the future, so I don't feel like i'm a criminal! Guest guest
There seems to be nation wide movement towards acceptance of the use of marijuana for a host of ailments and it is long over due, those in the drug companies must be having a conniption fit. Just think about what they have to loose. You could grow your own medicine. In a message dated 2/2/2010 1:39:54 P.M. Guest guest
I'm in your camp, always have been, medicinal marijuana is a godsend for pain patients, fibro, etc..., this is just a fact, and it is much less dangerous than alcohol. People die from alcohol poisoning, there is no such thing as marijuana poisoning, that does not occur. Folks have to just cast away all your brainwashing you received from watching Reefer Madness wehn we were kids in school. That was all propoganda and lies. Once the government figures out how to make a lot of money on it, they will be professing its medicinal value, which, if anyone has ever taken the time to read and study it, knows that it is an excellent drug to take to help your health. It should be legal for medicinal purposes in all states now, we're all suffereing needlessly if we live in a State that hasn't passed the bill yet.
