Guest guest
Yea!!!!!!!!!! You are so lucky!! They say(researchers and doctors and all those learned people say that 2% of the people infected with Hep C, their own bodies are able to fight the diease and clear it. YOu lucky Lucky person. You tell your bodies immune system congrats. of course you may stay here as a member. I think it is great what happened to you and you will be able to share your story with others. Plus we have lots of people here that are family members, lovers, friends of folks with Hep C. Hep C is not a requirement to be a member of this group. In fact I think it is great that you want to stay with us to provide encourment and your own view on the situation that we often run into in our daily lives. Guest guest
this is wonderful news. Darlene Update Thanks to all for the welcome to the group. I had some wonderful news from my primary care physician this afternoon. The test results for the hep c rna came back showing no virus in my blood. I am still following up with the gi doctor, but I cannot tell you how relieved I am, for a number of reasons. The original test showed that I am not acute, so apparently I am one of the lucky few whose body defeated the disease. I feel very lucky to have found this group when I did. I hope that you won't mind if I remain a member here. Chris --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
I would never make a decision regarding treatment until I knew the results of the biopsy. If so, then they refer you to a GI, do a biopsy, check your genotype, etc...Once more is konwn, then you make the decision on treatment. They're stance is that if a patient is going to definitively rule out treatment, there's no sense in doing a biopsy, so they always wait until after the patient is informed about treatment.
