Guest guest
A warm welcome..again.....and since...we all congratulated u...,we forgot...Atul..also should be congratulated..for getting..his wife back. ... Yeah....I think..all hubbies..whose wives..go on this path..of MRCPs..MRCOGs,...feel..the same...and once the ordeal is over..r all too happy. I also feel sad..for many other hubbies..whose wives..have entered this circle..and yet to clear..after having given the same exams..a number of times.. May God be kind..on their Hubbies... Ur praise for New Hindi music..made..me join in..the discussion.. Yes,Delhi-6..songs..r good, on the soul and ears.,.as well.. My best is MASAKALI.... ... Play it,..when u start u start ur vehicle..and I am sure..as the song takes off..U will be wanting..to press the accelerator..with each..beat.. Not sure..if it is a good advice..for Indian car owners.. But,here, with no one walking on the streets.....it feels great...to start the song..and Fly..on the Highway...like Sonam flying with her pigeon,..in that movie..!! Great music.. So r some of the songs...of Luck by Chance.. I envy the music composers,.who with their magical fingers.,.can make even a folk Rajashthani song...into a chart spinner..with Hrithik..dancing so wonderfully to it's beats.. Not yet...loved any songs..from SDM..,probably am too biased..by the film..at the moment... On,that note..I was pleasantly surprised to listen to some wonderful footstomping numbers..from the doggie-animation movie,Roadside Romeo.. The musical scores of nearly 90%..of the album..is very funky... Listen to it,if u r going on a long drive.. Bye. Shyam(84) Back in touch Hi Its good to be back-there was so much going on in the last few weeks on the site and ab thoda thanda hai so I thought chalo hum hi kuch likh lete hain.Lots to catch up on. Thanks a lot for all Ur wishes for my MRCGP-its marked the end of a long haul of exams-when I got the result the first thing my husband said Was'Now can I have my wife back'.Only then u realise what a toll this all takes on Ur family. But yes its done and dusted.Studying for my MRCP was different-did not have Rahul then-half the time Atul was not around -oncalls/jobs in different places so was my own boss-a bit like studying for MD eat Maggi noodles non stop -its fine but this is different. When I did my theory last May I made Atul take Rahul to India for a fortnight in Easter hols so that I could study...My Dad used to call me The Bruce coz my MRCP part 1 took me 7 attempts -I can laugh now-but he said I was like the spider who never gave up!! And those quiz questions-they were foxing -some were preety okay some I was clueless-so Kishoreda U should take voluntary retirement from them-aapke hote hue doosron ka koi chance nahi hai.. I am listening to Delhi6 music in the car nowadays-what a sooper CD-every song is a classic-grows on you-my fav is Arziyaan and of course ye delhi hai mere yaar..Have any of you wondered how Maula has become quite a fav term in the songs of today-I can think of at least 3 songs in recent times to play on those words.Have got Luck by chance to see and listen to next.I like RingaRinga from the much talked abt SDM very much too.All my English colleagues have loved it.And I agreed wholeheartedly with Ashish's response to it-Poverty is global and tragic wherever it exists..Saying that the average Brit surprises you with his awareness of India and their love of it-just last week Atul went for a medical education course to London and his teacher turned out to be a lady who spends 4 mths of the year living in Poona working for a charity and learning Hindustani classical music and she talked to him in chaste Hindi!!
