Guest guest
Here's a diet idea that works for me when I pay attention to it. Rather than feeling like a failure due to eating a " forbidden " snack, build in a few calories for less-than-nutritious snack foods. For example, if you have a modest salad for a meal, then you can afford that cookie without guilt. In my opinion the point of a diet is not simply to lose weight, but to get us eating right so the weight will stay off. We can't avoid the goodies forever, so we have to have a system to deal with these temptations. I saw my physiatrist today. She said a lot of people are hurting more because of the impending snowstorm, so that might explain part of your pain as well. I've cut-out all the salicylate products I can find but for my Sensodyne toothpaste, which I've forgotten to replace! > > Yesterday I started feeling very miserable after DH & I spent time out together. And today, we had a snowstorm roll in...but it's not that bad and I feel aLOT worse tonight. If this stuff is " working " then ick! They said you'd hurt worse and I didn't expect it but I guess I am...this is pretty miserable though.
