Guest guest
Garnet: That's the same article I previously sent a link to. We got involved because someone recently put up a cell phone tower near our home. We purchased a meter (expensive) and found we were receiving levels of RF that are considered unsafe long term. The GQ article does not talk a lot about the problem with towers and antennas, but there is lots of other information on the internet about that. With a cell phone, at least you have a choice about using it or not, but a tower bombards you with RF radiation 24/7, and if you are close enough to it, the stuff can be harmful, both short and long term. Del History of Cell Phone Risks This is one of the best articles I have seen on cell phone dangers. It covers the history of the research and when it began to be suppressed. http://www.gq.com/cars-gear/gear-and-gadgets/201002/warning-cell-phone-radiation\ ?printable=true " It just so happens, " Frey had told me, " that the frequencies and modulations of our cell phones seem to be the frequencies that humans are particularly sensitive to. If we had looked into it a little more, if we had done the real science, we could have allocated spectrums that the body can't feel. The public should know if they are taking a risk with cell phones. What we're doing is a grand world experiment without informed consent. Guest guest
Del: I have heard that cell towers within .7 mile are a problem. I have a tower slightly beyond the .7 but think that this might be an average value dependent upon tower strength. How close is your tower?
