Guest guest
Thanks Jean. Glad to hear that magnets helped someone besides myself. I too had a wrist that had gone so bad I was afraid I would have to change professions.....found a vendor at Road to The Horse a few years back and had them make a double strength magnetic bracelet. Several years later I can not even imagine how my wrist was at that time. It completely cleared up. Actually I am asking about this for a dog's hips. I suppose I could try a magnetic collar. Thanks, Jolene Hi Jolene,Not sure if I've posted this information about arthritis and magnets or not.If it would help arthritis wrist degeneration, why not another joint?I truly believe magnets can work miracles and can testify, even a magneticstrip from a note pad can work. I had a broken wrist many years ago(thought it was only badly sprained so wore a wrist brace to work on).Arthritis had set up years after this accident and my wrist was swollen atleast twice it's size and involuntary tears were rolling. I didn't know ithad been broken at that point, just that I could not sleep for the throbbingpain. Rat in a corner, my eyes lit on a magnetic strip and thought it mighthelp. Dental floss tied it together around my wrist and by morning it was50% improved. It continued getting better for maybe 2 or 3 weeks and I worethe magnetic strip for maybe two months, then had to remove it for an X-ray,which diagnosed the broken wrist and arthritis. In about 2 months thearthritis began to come back so I wore the bracelet for another 2 or 3months. I took it off and have never looked back. No more pain, no moreswelling, no arthritis. I physically use my wrist nearly like liftingweights (feed sacks and bales of hay). This magnetic strip is something that most people throw away and I wasn'taware magnets could work like this. I know another lady who had a miraclecure on her shoulder, credited to a magnetic necklace.A lady whose intelligence I highly respect, said 30% are better helped bymagnets, than anything else. If anything works this well, it should beheadline news. I consider this a cure, not a repression of symptoms, sinceit has been many years now.Jean**********************> > If you have some degeneration of a joint (verifiable by x ray) because of a> past injury, is it ridiculous to think there may be some supplementation that> could clean up the joint, and help with repair? Guest guest
Joint degeneration can be repaired with Cetyl Myristoleate which relines the joint surfaces, and then Hyaluronic Acid when taken as prescribed will lubricate the joint, I have done it with my right knee - from limping - then crutches to pain free. With the CMO there are support remedies to take concurrently - the Deihl web site gives the details. HTH Jane Joint degeneration Hello: If you have some degeneration of a joint (verifiable by x ray) because of a past injury, is it ridiculous to think there may be some supplementation that could clean up the joint, and help with repair? I was thinking possibly Ester C may help. If anyone has any ideas that would help, I would appreciate hearing about them. Guest guest
A lot of list members have used CMO, including myself with good results. You can try an archive search. I buy it a vitacost.com - it is suppose to repair joint damage. Two trials were run taking it 30 or 90 days with good follow up results. CMO = Cetyl Myristoleate It is a kind of fatty acid I believe, that humans do not have but it was found that rats and mice have it and they can not even be given arthritis, they just don't get it. Guest guest
Here in Australia - CMO is only sold by vets for veterinary use as far as I know - we have to get it from the US for or own use - JAne Re: Joint degeneration Thanks Jean. Guest guest
Hello Garnet,I believe that Swanson vitamins also has this. They have it as Celadrin. I would guess that there are various combinations that companies have made so it looks like you need to actually get a list of the ingredents and make sure that it lists cetyl myristoleate. > > > Hello: > > If you have some degeneration of a joint (verifiable by x ray) because > of a past injury, is it ridiculous to think there may be some > supplementation that could clean up the joint, and help with repair? Guest guest
May I ask , do you use just the CMO, or do you use CMO & DMSO? Guest guest
I had a ganglion cyst - the kind that are a result of cartilage damage, and DMSO worked wonders on it - got rid of it completely in about a week. I know a guy who owns a natural pharmacy. He said he head a lot about zeolite and wanted to test it out for himself before he sold it. He took more than the recommended dose and said after awhile his shoulder, which had been injured for a long time (muscle, tendon and joint) began to ache badly. He thought it was a healing crisis, continued, and after awhile found it had a restored range of motion and was as good as before he'd injured it. I know of people with lyme and rheumatiod arthritis who get pretty close to full recoveries as well from joint pain and degeneration. Putting dogs with arthritis on the BARF diet - bones and raw food, is supposed to reverse arthritis. So there seems to be a nutritional piece to healing it. My best bet is that the natural forms of gelatin, glucosamine and chondrointin from bone broth would be a good nutritional aid, along with salt and a healthy diet. If you google " broth is beautiful " you can find a lot of information on why bone broth is better than natural supplements. > > Hello: > > If you have some degeneration of a joint (verifiable by x ray) because of a > past injury, is it ridiculous to think there may be some supplementation that > could clean up the joint, and help with repair? Guest guest
I believe those recoveries are from a combination of DMSO and some other natural remedies - I'd have to look it up - why? Because I have lyme and RA and would like to know what protocol they used to be cured. ~Mimi
