Guest guest
Sorry I didn't realize my post went thru twice. Anyway.... WOW That's a lot to go thru! And from having a baby. Well, many things can happen when having a baby. My older daughter, she went PPP (Post Partum Psychosis, started tho with Post Partum Depression but her husband was in ignorance and never crossed his mind to take her to the doc, so it turned into PPP.) Anyway.... that triggered a dormant Bipolar condition in her. Its been rough on our whole family, but I did find a natural solution for her. Many don't know there is one for something as serious as Bipolar, so I was (pleasantly) surprised! She used it for about 6 months and even her doctor had to admit he saw a noticable improvement in her. But she quit, and things went downhill. Anyway, I hope no one ever needs this info but in case they do, here is the link: http://www.truehope.com Read the science/medical stuff and especially the Testimonials. These are vits/minerals/aminos/herbs that when she gave them up, I took them, and they were great. I wonder what else they may be good for. Expensive, but I got rid of a ... breakout, almost boils, with a combintion of them and flax oil. (The flax oil alone never did the trick). As for me.....I was diagnosed hashi's in 97. And by now I am so frustrated with the lack of weight loss, or the gain, and felt if I had more association of like-minded peole, maybe I could attack this darn thing better if not alone in this. Oh, I should mention, I am a vegetiarin and would be nice to find other vegetarians who are hypo. I started a group for veggie hypos, but I am not sure if its ok topost that link here so I won't. Anyway... lets see, what else about me .. that I can remember to the best of my ability hehe). Am almost 55 years old, married, live in the woods, have two adult children and one not-so-adult husband. lol Two cats that get hair all over everything (one is a long hair I got from the pound, all white except a gray tail). We see deer out our windwo, and this part of my life is pretty good. Its that darn Hashi's thing that is the trouble maker. I avoid the wrong foods (like tofu or cabbage or millet etc), and eat pretty darn good. I think for me its a combination of two things. One is others with the same medical condition (my husband just doesn't " get it), and secondly, stress relief. Hope you start to feel better. A baby can be a lot of work too. I know, I babysit my grandbaby... and am proud of it. hehe But we joke how it taks a whole family (when the mother works) in order to raise one little baby. How can one baby make that much noise, have that much fluids coming out of every oraface, and be so darn cute ya dont care about that other stuff. ~ Priitaa > > > > Wow jody....I don't know how you are functioning with a TSH that high -- > > after delivering my 2nd child in 2003 I developed HT and my TSH went > to 73 > > after they took me off my levoxyl and I was bedbound - couldn't even get > > vitals - I'm certain I should have been hospitalized although there > is no > > fast fix but I should have been monitored.
