We just had a vicious cold snap here in south Florida for more than a

week, with several nights of freezing temperatures (that is extremely

unusual for us!). Can I just say that now I appreciate how much worse

it is for y'all who live in the northern states! I have been

practically immobile for the past week. I mean, I've got it all -

heating pads, blankets, cats, socks - you name it - but the cold almost

seems to make my blood sluggish. I have been unable to do just about

anything.

Something to consider if you're thinking about moving - cold and rain

DEFINATELY make this disease worse!

Stay warm, everyone! - ljg

My cat snuggles in my lap and keeps me warm when I sit on the sofa. He's

trying to get me to move there now, keeps on jumping in my lap and

purring then jumping off.

I am in Kentucky and the past week we have been in the 20s highs and lows in

single digits or below. I am having a very bad flareup. I am in a lot of pain

and very stiff, making it hard to just get out of bed or off the couch...

Praying for a warm up and looks like were going to get one. although change in

weather flares me uo too lol.

lots of hugs

Debbie

I have been bed ridden for almost 2 weeks due to this cold weather in florida. I

have a heated mattress pad and I works wonders, almost no stiffness but can't

leave the bed and do anything too cold.

I live in New York and have been dealing with weather below zero as we do most

winters some worse then others...the pain and the stiffness is intolerable but I

tread along as best I can. It is so much worse for me in the cold months...I

would love to go south But then I have problems also with the humidity with my

fatigue I think I would rather deal with that then the severe pain though..hmmmm

 Love Ya!~Debra ~

Debbie,

Just a quite note to tell you I enjoy your posts. I hope you get that warm-up

soon. I'm off to the hopefully Sunny South myself to visit my family. If it's

warm, I will be so happy but January is so iffy.
