information about a conference in upstate NY on September 24, 2005.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Presentations are geared towards physicians,parents, educators, physical and

occupational therapists, speech therapists, and researchers who work with

children who have Autism, Aspergers, PDD, ADHD, ADD and other

developmental disorders.

CONFERENCE GOALS:

Biomedical Track- At the conclusion of this conference, participants will

understand that there is a biology associated with autism, and further be

able to identify specific medical issues defined by that biology which

when treated result in loss or reduction of phenotypic autistic symptoms and

behaviors.

Educational/ Therapeutic Track- Participants will understand;

1- the basics of ABA and Verbal Behavior

2- how to effectively interact with the injured child and first responder

personnel in a medical emergency

3- the unique dynamics present in the environment of autistic children

4- the scope and eligibility criteria for the Federal SSI program for

children with autism.
