Greetings,

my name is Bruce Bushway, a psychology graduate from

Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Im

returning again to NYC to work with families and children with

autism. If you or someone you know if seeking help, feel free to

contact me via email or by phone. I have worked with autistic

children in both the home and academic settings. While attending

GVSU I completed their autism practicum under Dr. Amy s,

worked with a 5 year old boy whom at the time was a client of Dr.

Carl Sundberg, in addition to ABA experimental lab work and research

while a student at Central Michigan University. The practicum at

GVSU emphasized on incidental and discrete trial training. Please

Provided services by administrating ABA and various methodologically

based procedures and modules for a 7-year-old boy with autism for in-

home based intervention. Programming was overseen by Dr. Carl

Sundberg during initial stages of intervention. Maintained active

support and consultation with the family regarding child's

developmental progress.Core objective was to promote and maintain

independent verbal and social skills.

March 2000 – August 2003

Eldercare and Mobile Doctors – Certified Nurse Aide (CENA)

Performed all duties under the protocol of a CENA for the in-home

health care needs of the elderly, physically and mentally disabled.

December 1998 – March 2000

Green Field Farms (AFC) – Program coordinator and Resident supervisor

Responsible for up to 30 residents with various cognitive and

emotional deficits. Managed daily living schedules and activities

medical appointments, drug administration and group field trips.

Managed residents in their daily living needs and activities.

Provided domestic, medical and emotional support for residents

suffering various physical and mental challenges. Performed all

duties under CENA protocol. Core objective was to facilitate the

independent living of the elderly. Reported to Director of Nursing

(DON)
