Behavior Analysts, Inc., is owned and operated by Dr.

Partington, Ph.D., BCBA, co-author of the Assessment of Basic Learner and

Language Skills (ABLLS) and over 30 years experience in the field of educating

children with autism. Behavior Analysts offers training, consultation, and

clinic services for children and families. This course is designed for

professionals who will be developing and implementing educational programs for

children autism and other developmental delays in early intervention,

pre-school, and home and school-based settings including parents,

administrators, therapists, teachers, aides and paraprofessionals. The

workshop will cover topics such as:

· Basic behavior principles derived from the science of applied behavior

analysis to teach children effectively such as positive reinforcement and

errorless teaching.

· Establishing cooperation, pairing with reinforcement and opportunities

for instruction with children.

· Using the Analysis of Verbal Behavior to teach mands, tacts and

intraverbals, as well as other early learner skills.

· Natural environment teaching and discrete trial instruction.

Video analysis, role play, lecture and feedback will allow participants to

develop

introductory teaching skills related to these topics.

The workshop is limited to 20 participants to ensure maximum feedback, analysis

and individualized instruction throughout the workshop presentation.
