Guest guest
Hi I have a question about B5 sorting non-identical items into categories. My son is doing well with this program, he is good at it at he enjoys doing it. We were setting out the sample objects and pictures than handing him one object or picture at a time. I was told that method was incorrect. He needs to sort from a pile of objects and pictures. We are giving him a basket of objects and he happily sorts those out no problem. Pictures are the problem. He doesn't have the fine motor skills to take one picture at a time off a pile of pictures. I'm not sure if he realizes that there are several pictures and usually puts them all in the pile for the top picture. How important is that he works from a stack of pictures and how many pictures should be in the stack? If we give him one picture at a time he can sort about 10 categories into an array of 4 and can learn a new category in a few trials. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
